Kathryn Oswald
Certified Therapeutic Counsellor
For many of us, the relationship we struggle with the most is the one we have with ourselves.
I often hear, “I’m my own worst enemy” or “I’m my toughest critic.” A lot of common mental health issues - anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, difficulty coping - can stem from this very thing; how we feel about ourselves. Talk therapy allows you to explore the hows and why of your internal world, challenge previously held beliefs about yourself in order to cultivate a centred, resilient self that is better able to cope with whatever life brings.
Everyone deserves a safe space where they can explore their feelings, struggles and stories at their own pace and without fear of judgment. You may be amazed at the shifts that can happen when you are free to be your true self.

The curious paradox is, when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
- Carl Rogers
Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It's the relationship between equals.
